Bathing a dog

More attention should be paid to bathing a dog. This is due to the fact that if the animal is not careful when bathing the animal, it can get some infections. For example, if the ears are not covered with a large cotton ball, the water can enter the ear canals and cause some ear infections with symptoms such as constant discharge from the ears and shaking of the head.

The frequency of bathing actually depends on the dog breed. If the dog is a furry type like the Cocker Spaniel, the bath should be done every six to eight weeks. If these breeds are bathed too frequently, the skin and coat lose their protective character. However, if the dog has defecated on the skin due to frequent indigestion leading to diarrhea, in order to avoid bad smell, the dog can sometimes be bathed frequently by the owners.

Be more careful to avoid some irritating soaps or human soaps. Soap materials used for humans are not suitable for dogs. Similarly, many human shampoo products contain some ingredients that are not appropriate in proportions to be used for dogs. So always try to use shampoo products that are listed primarily for use on dogs. Be especially careful when using a new product.

Always have time and patience for the necessary products for the bathroom in a place with the availability of a water source.Dogs love splashing water, rivers and oceans. Even if you use the bathtub, have everything in one place and then start bathing the dog. Try to have a leash, conditioner, towel and shampoo in the bathroom.

The conditioner is useful to make combing easier later. Bathing should be comfortable for both dog and owner. This shouldn’t be a burden.
